Abhorrent AD:

"Peace Doctrine is the Cut-Up Harsh Noise project of Matt Gomes (Misery Engine, In Disgust) from San Jose, California.

I think this may be his fourth release for this project so far, following a split with The Vomit Arsonist and two excellent self-titled tapes.

Where some cut-up projects focus on face-ripping higher tones, Peace Doctrine goes straight for the core with heavy low-end gut punches, only briefly letting up for reverberating industrial clatter and haunting ambience before the assault continues...always exuding an impressive amount of intention and prepared compositional detail proving a lot of effort goes into what he is accomplishing here."
