This edition features three unreleased tracks, including a reprise of the original single ‘Dogs’ featuring Becky Sui Zhen on lead vocal, and has been remastered for vinyl and digital release by Joseph Buchan, a.k.a Melbourne composer and instrumentalist Other Joe. The album is performed by Miles Myjavec, Ashley Bundang, Lehmann B. Smith, Jack Saltmaris and Alec Marshall. The recordings started with impromptu collaborations in Marshall’s living room in Thirroul, before being sent through the modern marvels of the internet across the Northern Rivers, New South Wales; Melbourne, Victoria, and finally back to the New South Wales South Coast, where the record was picked up by Marshall and assembled into its finished whole. The album is performed by Miles Myjavec, Ashley Bundang, Lehmann B. Smith, Jack Saltmaris and Alec Marshall. The recordings started with impromptu collaborations in Marshall’s living room in Thirroul, before being sent through the modern marvels of the internet across the Northern Rivers, New South Wales; Melbourne, Victoria, and finally back to the New South Wales South Coast, where the record was picked up by Marshall and assembled into its finished whole. The fusing of these elements imbues a sense of vulnerability, introspection and hopefulness throughout the entirety of the record, inspiring a calmness and beauty that emerges from amongst the ceaseless din of the world around us.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eHayes approached fellow musician and spoken word artist Charlie Perry at the beginning of 2020, to collaborate on some recordings originally written while on tour in Europe. Hayes, caught in Europe mid-tour, based himself in the south of France, while Perry retreated to Australia’s southern coastline in the small beachside town of Fairhaven. Hayes, caught in Europe mid-tour, based himself in the south of France, while Perry retreated to Australia’s southern coastline in the small beachside town of Fairhaven.
