"Voces, composed entirely of field recordings in different cemeteries in the province of San Juan, Argentina, was born as a desire and a need, at the beginning of 2020, in the context of a pandemic. The recordings were made with dizzying respect in different sessions of attentive listening and long hours of wondering reflections and discussions.

On April 18, 2021, in the last details for this project to be completed, Carolina departed from this earthly plane, remaining forever in this recording, in all her works and, mainly, in the center of our souls.

The photos are her own, except for the three corresponding to the Albardón cemetery, which were taken after her departure by people close to her.

My deep thanks to Guadalupe Meló Crubellier, Tesaka, Sol Riveros and Laura Meló Crubellier for their dedication and collaboration in everything necessary to conclude this project in the same way it was born: under a deep love.

Sharing'Voices' is my way of embracing Carolina's will. "
