"Fallen Metropolis is proud to present two remixes by: Stanislav Tolkachev

Tolkachev is a techno pioneer from Ukraine. His productions are influenced both by the classic sound of Detroit and the sleek minimalistic tendencies born in Berlin. He is focused on experimentation with textures and psychedelic sounds, taking inspiration from many diverse sources.

On side A of "Edit: I" Tolkachev reinterpret "Gone For Good" by Fallen Metropolis. An eleven minute exercise in hypnotic techno and broken rhythms, with just subtle hints of the original theme appearing behind the relentlessly driving metallic synths. Expertly crafted introspective music.

Side B contains Tolkachev's remix of Trafo's track "Sensory Override"
Piercing arpeggios and aggressive IDM drum patterns with occasional fm bleeps and blops loop through out this excellent recording.

"Edit: I" is the first tape in a series of ten cassettes, containing remixes and reinterpretations of works by artists from all over the Fallen Metropolis"
