Text by The Jewel Garden:

"hyacinth. is non-binary, native artist from Portland, Oregon and in the faint light of Hold Onto Love, they are dreaming in dusty pink hues under a veil of whispered lullabies. In their second release for The Jewel Garden (Poppies split with The) North Sea), they breathe in the cool sea air, searching for a gentle embrace. Hold Onto Love creates an emotional dialogue steeped in devout memories and tightly-held trinkets from a micro journey through monuments of a fictitious past. vision beats, melancholic synth pads, and unexpected horn samples all processed through their faded neon filter.

Blurred sax greets listeners, glossing over the surface on a bed of wet funk rhythms forgetting their roots and swimming in the dawn's glow. Late nights become great nights when the celestial chimes ring out on “move wrong,” gliding across the glass river, weightless Elsewhere, “a beat for britt brown” sparkles under a hazy midnight venture, skewed and angelic like a celestial being that's lost its luster but still shines inside. The horizon. “Pavement” and “spread” puncture a smooth jazz curtain with a grid of melody and liquid beats. This is where the aural flow bleeds into the atmosphere, creating a sanguine magic shell atop our bittersweet memories, letting the best moments beam through. "
