Life is as simple as we make it - why do we constantly choose to over complicate things? of insignificance, but to also celebrate the beauty of what we unconsciously let slip.

Ooh La La! is a Melbourne based solo-project shaped through instinct and honoring imperfections. An attempted reach for curiosity and calm. Partly inspired by Cluster, Bruton Music Compilations, and McCartney 2, Ooh La La!'s compositions are created through field recordings, library music samples, and analogue recording equipment."

Undulating Contours memorise such viewing on analog tape recorder. Musically documented events are becoming subject for reconstruction. Moving tape over the tape head mechanically, cutting loops, extracting rhythmic patterns, manipulating the pitch, extracting natural noise are the tools for recovering the observations, for setting them on different perceptions, sometimes even disagreeing about recorded facts. The result is a collection of dreamy melodies, ambient textures which present typical human states as nostalgia, happiness, endless thinking.
