Dasa Tapes, a label run by Greek experimental musician Savvas Metaxas, has arrived. This work is a cassette released in October 2023 in a limited edition of 10 by Manja Ristić, an experimental musician born in Serbia and living in Croatia. Contains two long-form sound collage/drone songs that make extensive use of field recordings. DL code included. Out of print. I also recommend the previous work and the work before it. Entitled "Voyage," the two works seem to travel through different episodes in which field recordings, electronics, and effects constantly change and shape the setting, echoing the evocative words of poet Birgitte Lyregaard, "I am from place to place."
