"The series of "grids" compilation, in principle, showcases artists whose work and sensitivity resemble the music published in outlines. The following were invited to participate in the first release of this kind: Automatisme, Avtomat, CRZKNY, Sauceman, DJ Girl, Ostrowski .

The second part of "grids" features nine artists, some of whom outlines listeners are already familiar with due to the label's earlier releases. The compilation includes: Automatisme (grids 1) exploring the possibilities of rhythm algorithmiziation; Aylu (groove 4) with a psychedelic-guitar juke; okachiho (groove 12) with radical reductionism; the Ifs duo (Fischerle [groove7] + Ostrowski [grids 1]), accompanied by the Japanese rapper ALchinBond - a unique MC rapping to footwork beats. label's catalog for the first time: Контур Сс with glitchlike dub techno; DJ Strawberry, a representative of the Turkish algorave scene; Kit Christopher with algorithmic footwork; Bass Clef with Tresor variation of 160bpm tempo;

Extremely short fragments of sound spreading in different directions give it the shape of a sound sculpture resembling a three-dimensional disco ball. Automatisme's music does not shy away from algorithmic radicalism, which creates an intense snapshot from soothing dub ambient patches.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cem\u003egroove 14.2 begins with a single looped phrase, which after a while becomes one of many superimposed rhythmic layers. Each successive change in the intensity and organisation of the compositional elements has a surprising effect. The starting point for this release was a JMT VDR-1 drum synthesizer, characterised by its intuitive aspects, its limited sonic capacities and the challenge to stretch the machine's possibilities. This one instrument informs the structure of the album, fixed in tempo, track and total length. Reducing his tools to a bare minimum, Hafner explicitly refers to specific genre traditions inherent in this radical form.
