"Ever since the advent of digital technology, there has been a kind of struggle, a restless undercurrent in electronic music. A persistent, unresolved tension that has led to many radical developments in the history of the genre. an always puzzling relationship between sound produced (and reproduced) and physicality itself, the virtualized engineering of sonic ecosystems and the sensuousness of resonators in material space. The ultimately virtual form of electronic music has always contrasted beautifully with its sensuous immanence.The transposition of electroacoustic in the digital realm , has given rise to new strata of surreality that blossoms in a mutual space of sensory and intellectual activation, and a fascinating but irreconcilable rebellion.
