" Pina is a much-revered artist in the Spanish underground scene and it is no secret that Lapsus are long-term admirers of his work and that he is also the mastering engineer for the vast majority of our releases.

After a productive 2020, releasing 'Buit' [Lapsus Records] and 'Advent' [Sin Hilo], Pedro Pina returns to Lapsus with 'OR', an album that unsurprisingly advocates disruption.

OR' pushes the boundaries of polarization and contrasts, forcing you to choose, perhaps acting as a metaphor for present-day life that scarcely allows for non-binary thinking.

The album is unmistakably divided into two sections (or two sides). For the ambassadors of purist electronica, side A may seem almost blasphemous with the inclusion of tracks deconstructing reggaeton and flirting with urban rhythms. with ambience and experimental electronica replacing beats, all constructed around "modular birds", field recordings of actual birds processed by a CV converter. To title the tracks Pina used various mathematical functions as a source of inspiration -OR is in fact a mathematical function in itself-.

OR' serves up 16 tracks, 2 minutes in length that are purposely short productions, which take a critical swipe at contemporary pop - and not so pop - structures that have transformed the streaming industry in recent years."
