----------------------

"Debut release from this trio of John Elliott putting down layers of understated synth, Jayson Gerycz playing reverb-coated singing bowls and Isabelle Rew on double-reeded instrument Bombarde. The different instruments integrate into each other like a combined aura, floating in and out of peripheral vision on four shorter pieces and then riding waves of sputtering discontent and resolution on 13-minute closing track "A Question About Time." Like all the heaviest trips, this one comes on so lightly you barely feel it at first, but then locks you in for the duration. Spacious and communicative, the five tracks here do, indeed contain questions that scrape for answers as they move along. "
