Chad Munson is a multi-instrumentalist and producer from the Canadian prairies. At the age of 7 he received a malfunctioning analog synthesizer. Listening to the broken synthesizer drift, drone, and distort sparked a fascination with texture that has defined his musical output since. Munson has been producing electronic music since 1998, quietly releasing 9 albums while splitting his time with numerous other projects like Golden Smoke, The Moas, and Gray Light District.

Raised in rural Saskatchewan, Kris Burwash had a much different relationship to music and sound. The quiet of prairie nights, the clamor of farm machinery, the blasting of 80s metal tapes cruising down back roads. Self taught guitar led to playing in many garage bands both in Saskatchewan and Edmonton (where he still lives). In 2001, he opened Listen Records, a hub of experimental music in Western Canada. In 2007 he started vinyl only label Uzu Audio. Between starting a family, running the store and label, and a table saw fight, creation went on the back burner until he finally took the plunge into the modular synth world in 2016. He has since released 3 full lengths albums and a double cassette audio sketchbook. The most recent 'Holding Air' was released this spring by Amsterdam based Shimmering Moods. "

This is a 2024-disc reissue record released by HR Giger's Studiolo aka Spencer Clark, a well-known psychedelic artist from Athens, Greece, in April 4 from Discrepant, a jungle music cave in Porto, Portugal. The titles were chosen in a poetic, almost naïve way, the sounds of these creatures led me to believe that they could be divided into different distinct phases of the day. It was then cut, stitched together and reassembled to give shape and restore unity from the fragments, in order to have an album that shows its completeness halfway between the titles and the compositions themselves. Contrary to what it may seem, it is not born from a concept and does not want to be. The titles were chosen in a poetic, almost naïve way, the sounds of these creatures led me to believe that they could be divided into different distinct phases of the day.
