Grabbing the deteriorated recordings left over from his 2017 trip to the title island and his imagination and machines run free, the journey here is hectic: mud, rain, radio jingles, crickets, confusing conversations and random mall music resulting in an eternal looping impression from whatever was ingrained. A dream/nightmare logic that manages to never make total sense, we should be thankful for that as nothing, ever is really like we remember so why should this be?"

South American Peruvian psychedelic writer Tomás Tello aka ACA released a limited edition of 2022 cassettes from the Portuguese jungle label Discrepant in October 10.Contains 100 tracks of Andean psychedelia. DL link included.Below is a commentary by the author himself.The crickets never stopped chirping where I live...and they kept chirping all through Quarentine...Grillito (Spanish for little cricket) is the 7-2019 Recorded in Tavira, Portugal in various improvisational sessions. The A-side, aptly, opens with the theme Grillito... The opening is inspired by the music of Sikris (Peruvian traditional music).Then comes "Jarravitz", which I recorded with Raul Jardín and Aya.The rest of the recording was done by myself, including field recordings from the Quelcaia Glacier in Cusco, Peru.
