Hopeton Brown, better known as Scientist, has been a pioneer in the world of dub for nearly 40 years. His early love of electronics led him to a job at King Tubby's studio in Kingston where he quickly ascended the ranks and became heir to Tubby's throne This is where he first began producing the creative, improvisationally experimental, and technically advanced mixes that inspired his nickname.

This album mainly consists of dubs of Al Campbell's 1980 LP Working Man. The cassette insert features photos of Scientist and the other artists and personnel taken by Campbell
