The latest batch 2023 of Kirigirisu Recordings, a label presided over by Tokyo-based experimental musician Broken Shoulder, has arrived in June 6.This work is the debut CDr released by Kobe ambient duo Minor House in a limited edition of 2 copies.Includes 40 impromptu ambient folk songs with keyboards and guitars recorded at various locations in Kanazawa. Comes with DL code.Below is a commentary by Asuna Arashi. "After living in Tokyo for 5 years, I moved to Kanazawa. After moving, I was often invited to the events of the label Sukima Industries in Kansai, and the venue in Kobe was often used as a live venue. It was SPACE EAUUU.At the time, the owner of the space often performed with a group called Minor House, and although it was a simple duo of keyboard and electric guitar, it was an adult performance that knew how to choose sounds and where to listen. It was like a veteran carpenter wielding a plane with a delicate hand, sharp but idyllic, as if they were sharpening it while drinking tea on the porch of the sound house they wanted to build. There is also one side: the eccentric character and self-consciousness that are common among musicians in the Kansai region, the live performances are frank and indifferent, and the content of the performance itself tends to be pulled by the human relationships and images of the music scene. (This kind of improvisation is not a performance.) (It may have been a problem that I talked too much about my love for B-grade kung fu movies during the improvisation.) For a while. As a result, I was invited to participate in their projects, and I even planned a Minor House concert in Kanazawa. I thought it would be a good idea to record their outdoor performances on the streets of Kanazawa, using a karaoke tape deck I found on their days off, starting in the deserted temple precincts, then going underground to Kanazawa Station and parks. , We played around the garden of the museum, and at night we played in various places such as the fish market and the streets after the shutters were down, and finally we played and recorded at the ruins of Kanazawa Castle.Although it was an outdoor recording, we used two keyboards and guitars. was recorded directly with line input, so the sounds of the surrounding field recordings were not captured. However, the performance itself was greatly influenced by the surroundings, and this album was produced as a record of that. However, after that, It's been a long time since Minor House's activities stagnated due to various circumstances, and I myself have been busy with overseas tours, etc. However, this time, with the release of an album from kirigirisu recordings, the shadow of that shadow has finally come to an end. The building will see the light of day, and we may see them in action again. " Click here for labels and other works /// Click here to...

Osaka ambient artist km: released this CDR from Kirigirisu in Tokyo in November 2022.Below is a commentary by the author himself. 11. font A work in which multiple tracks recorded on a cassette tape are superimposed. This song was created so that you can enjoy the changes in sound and the addition of noise caused by recording on a cassette tape, as well as the coincidence caused by the discrepancies in how the tracks are layered. 1. I like the condensed, summarized, and captivating nature of movie trailers, so I made music like a fictitious movie trailer. 2. Bag A song made by reconsidering the overlap of classical guitar sounds. 3. base I made this song with only the base noise of the input end of various instruments that I usually use. When I composed music based on a signal that was originally supposed to have no input, it happened to sound like waves. 4. day A work that uses only the harmonics of the 5th, 12th, and 5th frets, which are often used in guitars, and arranges them according to a certain rule. Please enjoy the melody that is created by chance from the regularity after eliminating the intention of creating the melody such as the selection of the scale and the arrangement of the notes as much as possible. 7. Phase I aimed for music that would be fine to listen to with earphones or headphones, but would not be audible if you listened to the speakers at the best possible position. 6. I aimed for music that can be completely separated with stereoL/R and cannot be shared even if you listen to each ear with earphones.Click here for labels and other works /// Click here to...

A split cassette by an Argentine artist has been released by Kirigirisu in Tokyo in a limited edition of 50 copies. Two songs are recorded alternately for about 10 minutes. DL code included. Pablo Picco and Lorenzo Gomez Oviedo were born in the same place, but didn't meet until December 2, when they exchanged records and talked a bit about their love for experimental music.Lorenzo then visited Pablo in Salsipuedes, Cordoba, in early February 2017.Their recording camp at that time, the naddy and natural recording jam in the woods, is the basis of this work.Tape noise, screaming violins, percussive river sounds, marching running shoes, field recordings aimed at distant sounds, and the night harmonium, which is also a component of'Tu cara estirada por el éxtasis'.After the session was over, they added some secret ingredients to the soup.Lorenzo's avant-garde piano and fragments of his fantastic poetry text were thrown into this surrealistic excursion of words and expressions. The result is a great album that reminds us of Friedrich Hölderlin's concept of expression and at the same time gives us an Impressionist feel. Pablo and Lorenzo have edited two tracks in this piece and dedicated them to each other.A lovable duo.An extremely beautiful cassette piece limited to 12 copies, with a wonderful cover drawing by Polish-born and Paris-based Kami John and Nico Picco's voice in several passages, adorned with endless energy. -Label commentary Although they ...
