Edition of 300.

Ilpo Numminen:

"This album is my expression of love to the 5U format modular synthesizers, reel-to-reel recorders and to the pulsating music that emerged in Germany in the early 70s.

With these songs I hope to radiate the ecstatic joy of making (electronic) music, encourage listeners to try new ideas and spread creative energy. Overall, I like to think that these things are the substance of the kosmische music.

The first song of this album is a salute to the Trout Mask Replica, that has just had its 50th year anniversary. I guess it's funny to begin a synth-album with a guitar solo. Rest of the songs echo more or less my influences from the kraut rockers. "

Lal Lal Lal:

"Ilpo's first solo vinyl is a collection of seven hypnotic songs from the time period of 2015-2020. I Guess You Could Call This a Long Play is a thoughtfully constructed thrilling record with many atmospheres, smooth transformations and deep sonic layers."
