"Recorded as one take," Change The Parameters ... "is a rough piece of sound art, evoking reminiscence to the sounds channeled at GRM as well as the general vibe of 80's tape underground weirdness or bringing to mind contemporaries like Pauwel de Buck (in terms of experimentation) or Jasmine Guffond (in terms of minimalism).
For an example, as much as rhythm and sequencing make up an integral part of Dundler's playing, she doesn't aim for a cheap shot and uses it not as a means to organize sound, but more as a specific timbre --creating a certain vibrancy , where intervals of silence are as much of importance as the more audible oscillations in between ... "

Then Philipp started playing in the motorik krautrock duo Zement, and as Felix had been building a reputation of his own as an audio engineer with Aetherweight, he mastered some of their releases. Then came 2020 and all its hegemonial narratives. In May of that year, Philipp played a livestream solo\/soli show for a club he was involved in back in the days. 10 tapes were made. Shying away from the fear of copyright infringements, we asked Heinzel to remove them; about half a day later, in true Fließgewässer fashion, he sent a whole new set of files with him playing a deranged violin instead of the original quotes. That was the final point, the being-struck-by-lightning-moment when we knew this one was perfectly finished.
