From the seductive opening salvo of “The Abduction” to the decaying, subterranean skronk of “Again,” The Weight is a lurid, languid tangle of voice, piano, guitar, and drum – instantly lush and lo-fi, equal parts resistance and resignation, joyously sad, guardedly vulnerable, and more than deserving of your attention. You'll thank me later. "
