--------------------------

Karakuchi is a debut 12 ”self-titled LP and the introductory release to the new London based label, The Florist's Mum. The ten tracks are unclassifiable, but are best described as a leftfield dance epic with ambient undertones that combine lusciously romantic synthesizers, which bring to mind an amateur Vangelis, mixed with dreamy chopped & screwed voices, that are all warped within the texture of deteriorating tape loops, and finally set to some surprising structures of bouncy garage kicks and dribbling hi-hats. Karakuchi's drifting between orchestration and organic crumble are a perfect companion for active electronic music listeners seeking experimentation and new depths of sincerity.
