Reading Group:

" Luke Martin and Morgan Evans-Weiler's Decadence is an expansive, 78-minute landscape that steps in between the extensive and the intensive modes of listening. A personal audio map of, say, Boston (where Luke and Morgan both used to live) is tra (ns) versed by way of passively oscillating microtonal sine tone textures and brief encounters with 15th century Franco-Flemish composer of sacred music Johannes Ockeghem. Decadence converges on the interstitial space where the question of distinguishing between secular and religious modes of listening doesn't seem to arise. "
