"Excited to be unleashing this third physical release [Following an Altered States Tapes CS. & Aetheric Records CDR] to drop from the relatively new solo moniker'Suburban Cracked Collective' aka Newcastle [AU.] Based Shaun Leacy (previously a member of legendary Newy) / Sydney underground noise collective, Castings) ..
He makes a diverse range of quality, skewered, hard to pin-point, rhythmic / percussive experimental lo-fi sounds around electronic beats / industrial noise / field recordings & other samples.
"Pineal Dreams" is a 4 track EP, recorded between August --November in 2016.
Available in a small run of black C38 tapes in red cases w / home-made inlay's attacked / splashed with a random selection of paints [& other inks / materials within an arm's reach at given time; no 2 are exactly the same] as well as -hole punched, coffee-stained, lightly burnt edges & / or crinkled, etc .- on nice thick textured torn-off pieces of recycled natural-fibre paperstock .. more details + tracklist on regular xerox paper that's stapled to the folded inner -panel of this uniquely DIY "J-card", plus individually typewritten text on front cover / spine / backflap sections +'chem imbal' stamped sporadically across it a few times .. Patterned color adhesive label on side A of tape. "
