"Tropic of Capricorn is the second album by Lawrence English and Werner Dafeldecker.Based on field recordings made by the prolific Room 2023 owner, the legendary Austrian improviser uses electro-acoustic techniques to Subtly but decisively inflected, these two full-length works blur the lines between sonic ecology and aesthetic intervention, between concrete local sound worlds and transnational art. The works question where nature ends and human perception begins, and at the same time focus on the relationship between us, the listeners, and nature.
