The noise / noise label Base Materialism from Newcastle, England has arrived for the first time in Japan.

This work is a cassette released in March 2021 by Aylesbury, England, which has also been announced by Invisible City and others, limited to 3 pieces. Low-flying drone is recorded on side A, and collage noise is recorded on side B.

Edition of 14.

Base Materialism:

"Another release from repeat absurdist noise offender Daniel J. Gregory, this time coming across more casual than before in the form of two spooky ambient works.

Track one fires up with creaks & cracks, ghostly chatter, and something almost piano buried under a wall of mellow hiss. There is a lot to be discovered in his uniquely thin mix.

Track two: a loose loop of broken eighties pop music plays over and over—with a few orchestrated breaks and glitches to wake the listener from their seasick-mini-mall meditation. The track carries that mall death old school vaporwave style that if i' m honest is refreshing to hear again.

All in all, we have here for you two slices of lo-fi ambient music. "
