"Phillip originally contacted me in August with a batch of tracks to master. I listened to them countless times on headphones while working on other things, and eventually decided they really should be on Stereoscenic! They created a very powerful "spaced out" feeling .. .distant and tranquil. Over the many listens, I gradually selected half of the tracks and settled on an order that seems to tell a story—getting deeper out there from tracks 1 to 5. The title track actually came from a second batch, because something felt missing. There's a great fragile & lo-fi feeling in that track that was just perfect before coming home with the solid low drone of the closing track.

The three abstract artworks featured on the packaging were made by Phillip some time ago and were just sitting in an archive waiting for this release. We combed through quite a few to select images that transmitted something of the title and feel of the music.

It has always been a pleasure working with Phillip and I'm proud to finally present this album—possibly my favorite of his so far ... ”
