Goncalo's third and possibly last under his most dazzling moniker, Prophetas.
The first tape, Reveal, Accept, Remember, Forget, revived the idea of strange hopes of the mid-50s (UFO sightings, suburbs, the space race), while the second, Maury Island Reverie, was an early 2s soundtrack. I explored disillusionment through the sonic worlds of mall culture, late-night cable TV, and rampant consumerism.And here, with a more random and hopeless approach to previously explored emotions and concepts, he completes an unplanned trilogy.
Made during what we now call a pandemic, and released just before another war breaks out, it feels schizophrenic to say the least.A new normal with full channels, all tabs open, zero attention and uncontrollable consumerism taking hold in music (and our lives), no time to think, no real motivation, just keep going. , sympathize, carry on, and die.
False prophets now have their claws firmly in place in every corner of society, plucking the good from our planet while leaving nothing in return.The world is now a giant cash dispenser, a landfill for credit cards, and you can get anything that makes a quick profit.technology?Science?art?Technology, science, art?If we can take advantage of it and make a quick buck while monitoring people, who needs it?On the other hand, will he appear as the savior of mankind?I have a plan, okay, let's all go to Mars.
Since the completion of this work, a war has been waged, covertly and otherwise.The old present has finally overruled the possible future.Be grateful that you have a past that looks and wonders like this tape. Long live false prophets everywhere in the 21st century, that's us.
