Curtis Roads (° 1951) is a sound artist, composer, and researcher in electronic music composition.Curtis Rose creates, educates and researches in an interdisciplinary area that spans music and sound technology. He was the editor and deputy editor of the Computer Music Journal (The MIT Press) from 1978 to 2000, and co-founded the International Computer Music Association (ICMA) in 1979. He was a MIT researcher from 1980 to 1986 and was also involved in the computer software industry for 10 years.He teaches electronic music composition at Harvard University and acoustic synthesis technology at the University of Naples Federico II.

Clang-Tint (1994) is a commissioned work by the Agency for Cultural Affairs and Kunitachi College of Music.It is based on the sounds of ancient instruments and computer-generated sounds.

Modulude (1998-2021) is based on modulation, which is the essence of the sound synthesis process in electronic music.
