Below is a commentary by Eric from Bastard Noise.

Ochiai soup is beyond the boundaries of live venues. The sound of sounds coming from all over the world shatters comfort into pieces, and it is completely mysterious that a resting place where you can find a sense of security and concentrate. For those who are eager for accurate sound reproduction and perfect dynamic range, this is, to say the least, "heaven on earth."I would like to say that I was one of the people who benefited from experiencing it.
It's only now that we can stand together to support a precious haco like soup.

"Flowers in concrete" is an unprecedented lineup of artists living in Japan and overseas who moved with the belief that "this precious venue must be saved".

You will soon be surprised by the 1 masterpiece tracks on Disc 14 (Side International).
Please check with your own ears that each group takes a different approach to sound. BEING (my personal favorite), AARON DILLOWAY, SICKNESS, PURGIST and DANIEL MENCHE are among the must-listen, but everyone on Disc 1 provides an exciting sound catalyzer that embodies their own vision. ..All songs are of good quality and I really recommend listening.
You can see that the artists tried themselves, using their time strategically.

Disc 2 (Side Japan) can be described as a "creative and imaginative throat" from the dynamics of a wide variety of next-level sounds in each group. BLACKPHONE 666 and GC SKULL ELECTRONICS blow your brain far away. They make their sound unexplainable, but there is no doubt that each is approaching maturity.
Also, regarding the supreme tracks by GOVERNMENT ALPHA, KAZUMA KUBOTA, KAZUMOTO ENDO, LIKE WEEDS, PAINJERK, LINEKRAFT, and the exploding SCUM, the sound is constantly colored with the power of pleasant agony, and the texture is changing. !!
And Wolf Creek can't go through.Terrorize those who listen to the last song on the album, "Feeling of Imperative Stimmen".It's a terrifying vision and attack.
It's one of the best sound documents I've heard over the years.

If you explain everyone involved in this album, or delve into the artist's history individually, you'll end up with a book. But all my closing words are HELP.Save me, soup!
This is a historic release, with each track packed with the artists' powerful "alchemy", 100% pure expression.

Let's see the light at the end of the tunnel together. HELP SOUP.Buy this album and set fire to your heart.

"FLOWERS IN CONCRETE"-(COMPILATION FOR SOUP) double compact disc release

Ochiai Soup is much more than a live venue. It is true enigma of safe haven for sound from all over the world to find comfort, pulverizing solace and focus. To those dreaming of playback reproduction accuracy and perfect dynamic range, it is "heaven on" earth "to say the least. I have personally experienced this bliss and stress that this is the time like no other when we must rise up together in support of such a priceless institution such as Soup.

"Flowers in concrete" (a compilation for Soup) is an astounding, exclusive collection of customized compositions from Japan and international based artists that have come together to do what is right: HELP THIS PRICELESS VENUE!

Disc One (Side International) immediately blindsides with 14 stunning pieces. A variety of sonic approaches which NEED TO BE EXPEIENCED to be believed! Standouts include BEING (my personal favorite), AARON DILLOWAY, SICKNESS, PURGIST and DANIEL MENCHE however ALL the artists on The first disc offer their own tailor made visions of challenging audio assembly. Officer work here by all and highly recommended listening. You can sense everyone took their time strategically and explored their own capabilities!

Disc Two (Side Japan) truly goes for "the creative and imaginative throat" with the most "next level" spectrum sound dynamics artist to artist. The BLACKPHONE666 and GC SKULL ELECTRONICS selections are utterly mind-blowing power. Each of these artists has truly defined themselves beyond description and the gradual maturity of each is critically exposed. Top notch material also by GOVERNMENT ALPHA, KAZUMA KUBOTA, KAZUMOTO ENDO, LIKE WEEDS, PAIN JERK, LINEKRAFT, and the phenomenal SCUM really keep things colored and transcending texturally and with pleasurable agonizing force! Additional standout Wolf Creek just terrorizes the listener with their closing piece "Feeling of Imperative Stimmen". Excellent vision and attack to be sure. Easily one of THE BEST sound documents I have heard in many, many years!

To be sure, this could become a "book" if I were to discuss in detail all of the contributors here and go into their deep histories as artists and performers but the final word is HELP. HELP for Soup!
This is a massive undertaking of a release and every track within it is a potent "elixir" of individual, untainted expression.

Let us all see the light at the end of the tunnel. HELP SOUP. BUY THIS INCREDIBLE RELEASE AND SET YOUR MIND ON FIRE.
