Ivan Zoloto, who is the owner of full of nothing and has been dexterously producing techno and noise core by using different names such as Love Cult and Vincent Moon, is the first release under his real name.It is an album with a strong sound collage color.Limited edition of 100 copies from CANT in Russia.

"Compass" is a brooding solo debut by Ivan Zoloto. Inspired by orienteering, the record features vari-speed tape manipulations, fretless strings (Ivan plays jouhikko, the Karelian lyre), DIY electronics, and computer-generated sounds.

Having been active in the Russian underground since 2006, and having participated in numerous projects ranging from weird techno to noisecore—Love Cult duo, a folk collab with Vincent Moon to name just a couple—Ivan has never released a solo record, until now.

Expect ice-cold, blackened drones, "filth folk," and structured improv. Includes a contribution from US multi-instrumentalist Ujstin Echno.

This is the first release on CANT label, established in Moscow by Zurkas Tepla.
