Text by LXV:

"This collection of arrangements is from the year 2020-2021. I was interested in the inconsistency of memory, in terms of arranging sounds and in general. I wanted to explore deceptions in sound, while still exporting something that felt deeply personal. The processes in For "box futures" I wanted to summon the historically maligned ghost of futurism's past through the rumbling torrents of the Intonarumori. The attempt was to create a botched replica using a personal idea of these sounds, in a sense an exotica. My Intonarumori was composed of a small modified object, inflated in sonic scale with a close contact microphone. The excavation of Russolo's “futurist” sound palette in this instance is not directly politically motivated, but the hope is for humor in scale- considering this well documented philosophical diversion as obsessed in power, will and force. The arr angements also feature heavily on the relationship between sonic imposters and genuine field recordings. There are waves that sound like waves that are waves and there are waves that sound like waves that are not waves, and so on.

'After the anxiety attack is over, some people report that they feel euphoric, almost as if their brain has decided to make up for the severity of the panic' "
