" Rémy Charrier return with his 3d instalment under his own name, closing an explosive gloomy trilogy, started in 2015 with “Cowries” released on Umor Rex, and followed by “Coup d'État” in 2017.
Heavy beats cutting beauty, bleak moments in melodic storm, noisy modulars confronting textured chords: Winterreise is a logic follower closing the series.
Started between Techno Animal, Raime, Depeche Mode and Alva Noto, the series end referring to the mournfulfullest Lieder of a dying Schubert, closer now from Coil, Deathprod or Shxcxchcxsh.
This 3d part is a meditation on loss, not as dark as it seems, simply documented the winter trip referred in the tittle, and the fragile light overwhelming the depression. "
