A collection of soundtracks written by American boxer "Silverfist" Lemaire in the 1990s for the blaxploitation film he was supposed to produce. (He is currently a surfing instructor in Costa Rica because his dream of making his Hollywood debut never came true.)

A rarity found in the trunk of a wrecked Mercedes-Benz, along with a charred script, more than 20 years later. Comes with DL code.

Below is a commentary by the label.

"When a friend of mine from Empty Space bought a wrecked 20's Mercedes that had sat in his garage for 90-odd years, he found a cardboard box containing strange things in its trunk. Unknown but now classic. A 90s movie poster, a burnt-out page believed to be the script of the movie, and a cassette tape containing a tracklist that simply says "original soundtrack."

The box was sent to the head office and the contents were carefully examined. While the crew was looking at old movie posters and burnt-out scripts, someone put a tape in the tape deck and pressed play: .Hard hits, dusty drums, dirty basslines and beautifully distorted samples quickly filled the room.

A dusty haze fills the room.A captivating head that droops.closed eyes.Dance.scream.A spontaneous freestyle battle rap.Thrown chair.Crying kisses and hugs.Full body slams, backflips and perfect splits. When the tape decks stopped, everyone rose from the fog, gleefully ready to share their music-inspired movie visions.

When asked about the origin of the mysterious contents of the box, it turns out that the original owner of the car was a small figure in the local underworld.Legendary boxer "Silverfist" Lemaire dreamed of becoming a successful Hollywood movie producer. No one knew anything for sure about him other than that he would write down half of his life to make it into a movie, and that he always said he was leaving the life of a criminal and moving to California. But all he really had was the movie soundtrack. He made it himself on a four-track tape recorder, vowing it to be "the crux of the film" and "ahead of its time."Rumor has it that he is now a surfing instructor in Costa Rica. The box in the trunk of his Mercedes, which he was forced to sell in order to escape, is the remnant of his dream.

What we got was a fascinating musical journey into a world that never happened.A movie that wasn't made.Unfulfilled dreams lead to your dreams.Empty Space invites you to imagine your own movie through a rigid, raw and authentic soundtrack.

The album has been painstakingly remastered by Formen and dubbed onto well-packaged cassette tapes. The jacket is printed by Ines Emertasol.Inspired by the tracklist's implied storytelling and a bit of background information about "Silverfist" Lemaire, she designed a four-layer screen-printed jacket, hand-printed on beautifully textured natural paper. "When a friend of Empty Space bought a broken-down Mercedes from the 90s, that had been sitting in a garage for around 20 something years, he found in its trunk a cardboard box which contained something very weird: Movie posters from obscure, but now classic 90s movies, burnt pages of what seemed to be a movie script and a cassette tape including a tracklist simply labeled "Original Soundtrack".

The box was sent to our headquarter and the content properly examined. While the crew gazed at the old movie posters and the burnt, beyond readable script, someone put the tape into the tape deck and hit play: Hard hitting, dusty drums, dirty basslines and beautifully distorted samples immediately filled the room. Listening and discussing the meaning of this obscure find, one after the other started to drift off...

A dusty haze settled in the room. Captivated heads nodding. Closed eyes. Followed by wild dancing. stopped, everyone rose out of the mist, overjoyed and ready to share the movie they had just visualized, inspired by the music.

Apparently, he eventually had to skip town and disappear for good when things went south - rumor has it he's now a surf instructor in Costa Rica. The box in the trunk of the Mercedes he had to sell to get out, is what's left of his dream.

What has found its way to us is a captivating musical journey into a world that never came to be. A movie that was never made. A dream unfulfilled, for you to dream on. Empty Space invites you to imagine your own movie through a gritty , raw and authentic soundtrack.
