Contains 14 songs ranging from ambient folk to bossa nova to lounge to ambient house, based on the concept of view/hiding place theory proposed by geographer Jay Appleton based on animal behavioral psychology. This edition also includes unreleased songs limited to this edition.

Includes an insert with explanations for each song.

The following is a commentary by the writer himself.

"In 1975, geographer Jay Appleton proposed the vista-hidden field theory of spatial aesthetics, which posits that humans benefit when their physical environment provides a balance between expansiveness (vistas) and confinement (hidden horses). The album interprets the model of vista and refuge through music, balancing panorama and containment, especially in electroacoustic arrangements that offer childlike wonder.

Views – Adaptation of the hiding place principle proved elusive. During the four-year recording period, he eschewed standard studio techniques in favor of a more intuitive method, a vocabulary of new tools that could convey the delicate landscapes that inspired this project.

Rather than making high-fidelity field recordings, he recreated natural soundscapes with synthesizers, an intimate and meticulous act of imitation. The resulting ambient atmosphere blends seamlessly with the album's dynamic, geometric compositions, likening it to a dwelling built in symbiosis with the surrounding terrain.

Although epics may form the paradigm of contemporary music, these works embody a quiet commitment to tenderness rather than power, reflecting the plain charm of ordinary life. There is. "

"In 1975, geographer Jay Appleton proposed the "prospect-refuge" theory of spatial aesthetics, suggesting that human beings benefit from physical environments offering an equilibrium between parameters of expansiveness (prospect) and enclosure (refuge). This album interprets the prospect-refuge model through music, counterbalancing panorama and containment within electroacoustic arrangements that impart an especially childlike wonder.

The adaptation of prospect-refuge principles proved elusive. A four year recording period eschewed standard studio technique in favor of a new lexicon of tools - more intuitive methods which could convey the delicate scenes that inspired the project.
