"MOTION PICTURES FOR PIANO is the first solo piano album of KOUGA FURUTA.

KOUGA FURUTA has been living and working in a modest way as a translator and a painter. As a matter of fact, he doesn't have any educational background as a pianist.

Nevertheless this progressive album starts from cover of Gymnopédie (Satie), and the other songs are all played by his improvisation of upright piano and simply recorded them at the small studio of city library.

He is born and raised as a mix with Japanese and Indian.
He reflects his unique perspective to his music which are described as a sketch of life and a soundtrack represents fleeting moments of solitude which have already disappeared."
