Swedish ambient artist Continuity aka Martin Herterich will open an experimental label in Ghent, Belgium in September 2023.This is a record released by BAADM.

Contains 7 hazy experimental ambient songs that feel like wandering in a deep fog. DL code included.

The following is a commentary by the writer himself.

Have you ever thought "I want to go back"?
Continuity is a sonic story and narrative arc set in a fictional East Asian metropolis.It's not a city you've been to.
However, it is a memory and a fiction.I want to capture fleeting moments, such as leaves blowing in the wind or sunlight reflecting off the glass of a roof.
These memory cycles create emotional patterns.However, unlike reality, these spaces are limited.There is an element of reality, an element of story that evokes emotion and indicates meaning.It will be impossible to travel there.Through Street View surfing and 4K walking videos on Youtube, these very real spaces are fictionalized, like the virtual spaces of a video game.Movement is narration.
Fiction is something that is real but not real.To understand a fictional place, you need to travel there. "

Artist statement by Martin Herterich, 2023:

"Have you ever felt like all you want is to go back?
Continuity is a sonic narrative, a story arc set in a fictional East Asian metropolis. It is not a city you have been to. 
When you have fallen in love with a place, you long to go back; but it's a memory; fiction if you like. You want to catch the fleeting moment of leaves rustling in the wind, the sun reflecting from the glass panels of the roof above. 
These memory cycles create emotional patterns. But unlike reality, these spaces are limited. They carry elements of reality in them, narrative components that evoke feelings and signify meaning. Traveling there becomes impossible. Through streetview surfing and 4K walking videos on Youtube, these spaces that are very much real become fictionalized, much like the virtual spaces of video games. Movement is narration.
Fiction is something that is, but at the same time isn't, real. In order to understand an imaginary place, one needs to travel there.”
