"'Medina Vibrations' (2020)

A few months before lockdown, the apartment complex where Tom White lived was covered in scaffolding.Residents were left for months in buildings covered with translucent white netting. The sound of the refrigerator, the chirping of birds on scaffolding posts, the electromagnetic activity, the loops of tape reverberate in your eardrums, reverberating inside your home and into the world outside.Comprised of archive and site-specific sounds, it will be released in spring 2020. Medina Vibrations was originally commissioned by V&A Dundee for the 'Now Accepting Contactless - Design in a Global Pandemic' exhibition and was created by David Blamey for British Earways as part of the mix and played on loop in the gallery. It was done.

'Energiser' (2022)

Energiser is driven by the tension between "natural sounds" and "synthetic sounds," and the way our perception changes depending on what is presented as sound.Composed of field recordings and electronics, Energiser proposes a dialogue between contrasting sonic worlds, suggesting that their interrelationships are ambiguous. When attempting to record the sounds of nature, there is no doubt that human interference and interference will inevitably affect the direction of the recording, but this is more important than continuing to pursue the perfect recording of natural sounds. will almost certainly influence decision-making during the process. Here we see electric fences surrounding pheasant enclosures, metal tubes that may or may not be submerged in water, satellite dishes used as percussion instruments, dead flowers densely recorded and digitally processed, and reel-to-reel tape. Further processing, etc.
It was originally included in the installation "WARM SPELL" at Beijing's abC Book Fair.Curated by Continuous Tone 2022.

'Hooligan' (2020)

Created using electronics, tape manipulation, and voice memo field recordings, this short electroacoustic piece is an exercise in tension and, at times, restraint.Exploring a purely atmospheric, cinematic dynamic from blaring low frequencies and feedback set against the irrational voices of inebriated soccer fans screaming, it threatens to spiral out of control, but is ultimately relatively uneventful. It ends in

'Pebbledash Piece' (Live at TACO! Gallery) (2019)

It was made up of televisions covered with pebbles.Echoing Laura Yuile's installation, Pebbledash Piece is a performance in which gravel is passed between two speaker cones, each playing a different sine wave. When the gravel is removed from one speaker, the suspended microphone swings, revealing its timbre with each movement. The performance transitions into a tape-manipulated concre collage, ending with the sound of a small electric motor hanging from a microphone stand, swinging a plastic wrapper around and rolling across the gallery floor into the audience's path.Recorded on November 3, 2019 for Constructions #11, curated by Kate Carr and Matt Jenner.
