"ANONO TAPES is the result of three years of convergence between the three collectives Maquis Electroniq from Abidjan, Blanc Manioc from Lyon and Furie from Lyon and Sao Paulo.

Three cities and as many bridges, utopias and encounters. A hectic adventure on a human scale that takes its source in the Maquis Electroniq festival in Abidjan, its block parties, open-air parties and the night life ravers.

New emerging scene, red oil incubator, we speak there AfroHouse 3.0, Amapiano, afro-tech and hard drum cooked in the sauce "gnangnan".

One brews all the collective of Babi (the small nickname of the cultural capital of Côte D'ivoire) Sly A 10 the drummer singer, which brings back of the song Zouglou, its rhythmic cut shifted or tapage which points out the big beatmaker Dj Bocolini , and signs the second single
"Route to Bassam".

The mysterious SAAN cries out its rage, a protest anthem, which calls all the neighborhoods, like "Abidjan City Breakers", "Anoumanbo, Abobo, Yopougon" on a "hard drum" beat, it is 100% club and it will be the single and video of the album. Reece Thomas, head of the British noise label Vanity Pill Tapes, released a limited edition of 2024 cassettes in January 1 on the American LA experimental/dance label Jungle Gym. Contains 50 dreamy ambient to ambient drone songs created as self-care for her own autism and gender identity. DL code included. Below is an explanation by the author himself. "It's an album I recorded in 6 and was originally created just for me. Despite a more optimistic sound palette than my other works, 'Faces In The Rise' comes at a very tumultuous time in my life. I had not yet begun to understand my autism, and I was deeply insecure about its existence.My struggle with gender, which was only known to me at the time, was brought into full focus. It was starting to take a toll on my health, and I felt extremely isolated and disconnected from reality. In the place, I found myself relaxing by watching the tides repeat, absorbing all the sounds, movements, and sensations, and ultimately reconnecting with myself in a way I had never experienced before. Through this album, I discovered the importance of repetitive sounds that give space and structure to my autism. In this stillness, I learned about and within my gender identity.
