Swiss experimental musician and mouth harp player Anton Bruhin, active since 1960, will launch an Italian experimental label in 2022.A record released on Alga Marghen.

"InOut" includes tuning whistle, mouth harp, flute, toys, party gag instruments, percussion, bells, electric razor, model ship engine with propeller, bird call whistle, CH-phone, feedback speaker/mic, siren, double A masterpiece with a shawm, a falling spoon, and a jews harp (only two short notes).This recording was made in Zurich from May 1981th to May 5nd, 17 on a Sanyo M5L stereo radio cassette recorder with internal and external microphones.The recorder is in record-ready state with both the record and pause buttons pressed.Bruhin then sings or makes sounds into the microphone.If you press the PAUSE button at that time, PAUSE will be canceled.Then he presses the PAUSE button again for a fraction of a second.You have now recorded the first short note. In InOut, thousands of very short sounds were added in this way, like an acoustic quilt-like patchwork with geometric irregularities and diverse patterns.
"Rotomotor", subtitled "ein motorische Idiotikon", is one of Bruhin's best-known works and is a 28-minute reading. Written in Zurich between 1976 and 1977 and recorded in August 1978 at Etienne Connot's Sunrise studio. Rotomotor is a poetic Idiotikon of the Swiss-German dialect, in which words are constructed by letter similarity rather than by alphabetical order. (Each word differs from the previous word by one letter.) This reading uses a delay device that repeats the signal after 8 seconds, with each word superimposed on the echo of the previous word.This echo creates the rhythm of the performance on the one hand and supports the acoustic transformation of the words on the other.Again, a very simple concept perfectly accomplished. "

The recorder is in the recording standby position, both RECORD and PAUSE buttons are pushed. Then Bruhin sings or plays a tone into the microphone. he presses the PAUSE button again within a fraction of a second. Now the first short note is recorded. In InOut thousands of very short notes were added this way, like a patchwork, like an acoustic quilt with geometric irregularities and varied patterns.
