This is a CD released by Italian experimental musician Fabio Perletta on the Australian experimental label room2023 in November 11.

Contains 7 experimental ambient drone songs using piano and noise.

The following is a commentary by the writer himself.

"The title of this release, ``Nessun Legame con la Polvere (Do not cling to dust)'' is a combination of Zen stories and my project ``I Fiori Non Vedono Mai I Propri Semi (Flowers do not see their own seeds)'' The quote is taken from a small wooden box that is one of the sculptures.This work was exhibited in 10 as part of Aequusol Autumnus MMXX in the Polinaria Forest, Italy.This exhibition had no sound.

Life, the materials we compose, and the objects we use every day cannot be thought of as entities in themselves, but rather as relationships between these things and the ways in which they influence each other. One thing is clear now.Even their own entanglements and special properties are nothing but the ways in which they influence and act upon others.This is the perspective that quantum physics has long adopted, and it is also fundamental to our biology and emotions.

When we perceive the world, we establish a strictly localized perspective. Nessun Legame con la Polvere is a web of mutual influences.Encounters that forever come and go, sounds that intersect with others in unpredictable ways, fragments that settle and resurface over time, unknowingly steering the helm toward one course instead of another. A personal event.

Nessun Legame con la Polvere is a meditation on lost friends, death, and the extraordinary power of life.The title of this work seems to betray what I have said so far, but I learned to truly appreciate the value of things through this paradoxical and strange puzzle.I embraced a perspective that contemplated the complexities of life in a broader sense, without seeking a purpose, an answer to our existence, meaning, or God.Not clinging to dust opens possibilities and welcomes possibilities.

I hope that this work will generate some kind of light as you listen to it, and that it will create a new relationship between you and the shadows of the world, its ripples and small gaps, between the infinitely small and the mysterious vastness of the universe. There is. "

"This release borrows its title 'Nessun Legame con la Polvere' (No Attachment To Dust) from a Zen story as well as from a small wooden box, namely one of ten sculptures of my project 'I Fiori Non Vedono Mai I Propri Semi' (Flowers Don't Ever See Their Own Seeds). This artwork was exhibiting in 2020 at Pollinaria's forest, Italy as part of Aequusol Autumnus MMXX. The exhibition had no sound.

It is now clear that life, the matter we are made of, and the objects we use every day cannot be considered entities in their own right but rather as relationships between these things, the way they affect each other. Even their own tangibility and particular properties are nothing but the way they influence and act on other things. It is a perspective that quantum physics has adopted for many years, but also the basis of our biology, of our feelings.

When we perceive the world we establish a strictly localized perspective which in turn can generate a more extended and widespread resonance within and around us. 'Nessun Legame con la Polvere' is a web of mutual influences; encounters that come and go forever; sounds that intersect with others in unpredictable ways, fragments sedimented over time and resurfaced, personal happenings that unwittingly steered the rudder towards one course rather than another.
