"Site-specific projects using cardboard, DC motors, and other industrial products.Known for his immersive installations. His mechanized environments have been exhibited in prominent museums and galleries around the world. His latest work, ``ModularGuitarFields I-VI,'' is based on the sound of a tenor-baritone guitar, combined with a modular synth and a vintage 1960s Magnatone amplifier.

ModularGuitarFields I-VI span a vast and atmospheric realm, demonstrating Zimoun's passion for raw, warm sounds and minimalist concepts and approaches. It's a minimalistic yet dense soundscape with touches of psychedelia and hard microsound. These compositions, unlike his installation works, can be understood as sound sculptures, with movement, eliciting hypnotic atmospheric effects and creating immersive environments.

Even in his purely acoustic works, he remains deeply interested in sound generation and the creation of sonic spaces.Rather than following a narrative development, his compositions evoke a sense of place, more akin to architectural spaces.Although individual compositions often undergo minimal changes over time, their microstructures exhibit continuous development and change. It feels like a living organism, constantly changing, rather than evolving into something else. This reflects Zimoun's fundamental interest in nurturing complexity and variety within simple structures and elements, creating a system that is continuously nourished and nourished by the sound of the guitar.

ModularGuitarFields I-VI takes a step away from the tranquility and ephemerality of his fellow 12K artists, delivering a more intense drone-based album. At first it seems like an unforgiving, isolated landscape, but hidden layers reveal details teeming with life and movement, like exploring the interior of a gigantic glacier.
