Below is an explanation by the label

"From time immemorial, the sea has been part of the human cultural imagination, an immanent space that is constantly reconfigured, unrecorded and therefore does not share the qualities (natural and human) of the land.

It is in this interstice that bahía mansa and Yama Yuki come together to reconcile and reconstruct their personal visions of the sea from the Atlantic and Pacific coasts where they respectively live or used to live. There is a place to explore the sea from an auditory perspective that makes it possible. To do so, the two musicians collect the sound architecture of the ocean, exchanging materials before each reconstructing the underwater space of the other in their exploration of the sounds and textures that converge on this pelagic space. The album closes by challenging the stereotypes that are in flux today. Mystery Circles:

“Since ancient times, the sea has been part of human cultural imagination, as an immanent space that is constantly reconfigured, leaves no record and, therefore, does not share the properties (natural or human) to which the land is tied.

It is in this interstice, where Bahía Mansa and Yama Yuki come together to explore the ocean from an aural perspective that allows reconciling and reconfiguring the personal visions on the sea that these artists have, from the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean coasts where they inhabit and used to inhabit respectively. To do this, both musicians collect the sound architecture of the oceans, and, after the exchange of material, each one reimagines the aquatic space of the other in an exploration of sounds and textures that converge in this pelagic space. album ends by challenging the concept of the fixed that has become fluid today."
