"This album is dedicated to Bartlett Square. I spent most of my youth skateboarding at this iconic park in downtown Tulsa. From the age of 9 to 18, I skated there almost every day after school and on weekends. I spent all my time on my board. My parents dropped me off and left me with their older kids. Those years of freedom taught me more than just how to skateboard. Adventure. It taught me how to create, to immerse myself in my imagination, and to find romance in a mundane, concrete world. It helped me feel alive and out of real trouble.Police. He also taught me how to escape.

This square was demolished in 2003 and sadly, but ironically, turned into a roundabout. RIP. "

" This album is dedicated to Bartlett Square. For most of my youth, I grew up skateboarding at this iconic park centered in downtown Tulsa. I spent nearly every day after school and on the weekends skateboarding there from the age of 9 to 18. My parents would drop me off and leave me with the older kids who took me under their wing. Those years of freedom taught me more than how to skateboard. It taught me how to create adventure and get lost in my imagination and find something romantic in a mundane concrete world. It kept me out of real trouble and me in just enough to feel alive. I also taught me how to run from the police."
