¥3,940
  • Availability:

Ambient artist Tape Loop Orchestra released a record in February 2023 with a limited edition of 2 copies.

Includes two long-form ambient drone songs.

--------------------------------------

Black 12" vinyl edition of 300.

Accompanying text:

"Temporal In-Betweens finds Tape Loop Orchestra providing a soundtrack to a metaphysical road trip, a journey through infinitely open space imbued phantomatic energies. A continuation of themes that were first heard on the Liminal Live cassette.

Foregoing the choral elements of recent work we find TLO operating on a more intimate level, returning to the open-frontier reverb laden guitar of his (as yet unreleased) post-rock past. Long sustained notes act as a bed for the floating guitar notes that dance around one another to form distant chords. There is a subtle motrik movement in the pieces that remind one of a late night drive always moving towards an unknown destination.

The cover painting by TLO collaborator Keith Ashcroft perfectly evokes the music, a car pulled over at the roadside while an old tape deck emits a warm ferric warble."
