The film is set against the backdrop of General Electric's PCB contamination of the Hudson River. is a collection of memories, scents, breaths, and expressions of place, without a narrative plot, through field recordings, audio, text, and digital synthesis. It embraces the miscellany of humans, nature, and art-making methodologies. This makes End of Signs a moving piece of storytelling."
