"The film is a tribute to the Armenian poet Sayat Nova and was inspired by Sergey Parajanov's cult film The Color of the Pomegranate (Nřan guynə, 1968, USSR) about his life. be.

This feature film depicts the life of a 17th-century poet through a series of episodes, from his childhood in the royal palace to his retirement and death in the monastery of Hagpat. Rather, it shows, evokes, and suggests through metaphors and analogies, surrealistic flair, dreamscapes, and liturgical poses.

Interweaving a variety of sonic textures, from ambient to noise to references to Middle Eastern musical traditions, the six tracks are inspired by the film's dreamlike imagery.

Gianluca Ceccarini and Alessandro Ciccarelli work with analogue synths, drones, amplified general objects, generative music, audio samples from movies, tars, trombones and cornets, which are stringed instruments of Persian origin. and other acoustic instruments, alternately playing without fixed roles.Additionally, two songs on the album include Sayat Nova poems read in Persian by Nahid Rezashateri.

The sound material gradually reveals itself in an episodic fashion, recalling the visual allusions directed by Parajanov in the film. "As long as you come to my garden" is intended as an imaginary journey into an archaic time of distant space and shapelessness.
