" Music for Meditation and Tension Releasing is a new sonic experience ideated by experimental artist Rodolfo Ciuffo as a unique journey to travel deeply inside spiritual states of ideal consciousness for meditation and tension releasing; through the exploitation of soundscapes and musical vibes made of ambient, new age , avant-garde and psychedelic inspirations with a massive use of sample manipulations and electroacoustic art sensibilities.

The album is conceptually structured as a day with each track evocating different daytimes and atmospheres placing meditation tracks in early and late morning and the tension releasing section at dusk. The first ones create a huge ethereal and peaceful input that leads to mindfulness and relaxing emotional states across distinctive dreamy synth patterns and heavenly pad layers. Instead the second is more oriented on dark and abstract sounds achieved through a collage of processed recordings from natural areas, local street musicians playing and monk prayers from Tibet and Nepal.

She is fascinated by how and why sound makes us feel, the political implications of sound, noise pollution and the everyday sounds embedded in our immediate environment.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eContextually, this makes a lot of sense when confronted with her debut release for DEEWEE, Dream Cycles. A 120-minute exploration of sounds, loops, frequencies and waves, it’s an eight- part musical cycle split into 15-minute sections across four cassettes, she believes, reflects on this notion of cyclical, rather than linear, time. The eight song cycles are repetitive. They start off basic and functional and build over time. They begin with one sound but soon you hear other sounds. From there you get taken to another point, where you hear something else and so on and so forth.
