The following is a commentary by the writer himself.

"In December 2021, after several years of writing and recording with overly complex setups, I decided to scale things back and try writing and recording with minimal tools. As I traveled, I improvised music using the Buchla Music Easel, acoustic guitar, e-bow, delay pedal, and field recorder. Some editing and tweaking was done in post, but most of the sounds were simple. So, in the end, I captured it in a free way. Thank you to the Full Spectrum team for bringing this release to the world."

Artist statement by Nick Turner:

" In December 2021, after a few years of composing and recording with overly complicated setups, I challenged myself to pare things down and to write and record some music with a minimal set of tools. While on a short trip to the woods of central Wisconsin, I improvised the music on this album utilizing a Buchla Music Easel, an acoustic guitar, an ebow, a delay pedal, and a field recorder. Some editing and tinkering occurred in post but the majority of the sounds were captured in an uncomplicated and ultimately freeing manner. Much thanks and gratitude to the Full Spectrum team for putting out this release (and wonderful art in general)!"
