"Post-transition broadcasting in reductionist methodology is realized.
Projected Music is a 26-inch zoetrope picture disc containing 5 rocked grooves.Each loop is 1.33 seconds long and cut at 45 rpm for a total playback time of 34.58 seconds, but the loops are intended to be played at any speed. Owning two or more discs allows listeners to interact with the modular album, leaving the source open to interpretation.Despite its minimalist size and composition, this release is intended as an LP.The expandability of turntables allows for almost endless possibilities.

Please note that we were advised by the pressing plant not to make 5-inch locked groove picture discs.Rather than follow their advice, we accepted these artifacts. "

Using only physical copies of Sculpture's 5-inch locked groove animated picture disc 'Projected Music', Dan Hayhurst's sonic material containing 26 loops are transfigured into new imaginings by some of the most prominent and inventive artists working in the field."
