Techno artist Guixine from Paju, South Korea will launch an experimental techno label in Berlin, Germany in August 2023.This is the debut CD released by Psychic Liberation in a limited edition of 150 copies.

"Guixine is a ghost in Korean folklore who haunts the world out of a grudge. On her debut album from Psychic Liberarion, Woodland Fantasies,Guisin confuses 15 tracks of pressure techno with intricate minimalist gestures. Woodland FantasiesThe work is rooted in the dichotomy between Guixin's forest as a ``resting place of desire'' and a stage for erotic male escapades. K embarks on sexual viscous layers in touch and relationship, transcending the material sexual escape of group sex in the woodland environment into the psycho-spiritual realm of the chemical vessel. By negotiating K's anti-climactic post-sex misogi with nymphs and forest characters, K's emptiness draws out a portal that removes an inner burden. K's catharsis is just the gateway to their frenzied experience, and as K clutches a gay porn magazine in the back of his van, they plunge into a deeper, more elusive 'void'.We listeners are at the edge of a cliff over K's fate.

In Woodland Fantasies,Guisin delivers the power of sharp rhythms through long meditations through pressure clicks and roaring bass curves.Composed entirely with FM 8 VST, this feature-length album feels like Rasta Noton's peak album or Seaga's Purification Loops through the lens of Mika Vainio. "The forest is the final resting place of aspirations. It is the forest where failed entrepreneurs abandon worldly possessions and hang themselves.

The young protagonist, K, hops in a van with drugs to embark on an outdoor orgy trip.Men pack like dogs and bring their friends to have sex.They go into the woods and hide in tall bushes.They are numbed by terrible sights and blinded by lust and stimulants.

K was frantically fucked in the backseat of a musty van when the LSD kicked in.They are now surrounded by very loud nymphs.The last light of the day strikes K's ears from behind.He is burned with pain and humiliation. K excretes semen on the wet forest floor. K sees a snake emerge from the roots of the trees.Mori despises K for leaving dirty marks.In exchange for bodily fluids, they offer a quick finish. K doesn't remember signing his contract, but the snakes charge anyway.For a moment there, the vision of the glorious Fairy Knight burns into my eyes.Snakes shed sweet sap from severed necks.

K feels cold and weak. K crawls into the van.The van takes off.He holds onto the mattress and his left hand touches an old men's fitness magazine.A fever begins, and empty energy flows into the body. K realizes the future is not far away. "

"Guixine, pronounced gwisin, is a Korean folkloric ghost that haunts the living world out of spite. On the debut album by Guixine for Psychic Liberation, Woodland Fantasies, Guixine haunts through fifteen tracks of pressurized techno with deceptively complex minimalist gestures. Woodland Fantasies is rooted in a scene of narrative dichotomy for Guixine, remembering the forest exists as a “resting place for aspirations” while also the setting for an eroto-charged male getaway. Throbbing psychedelia pulsates through the album, soundtracking Guixine's hedonistically inclined character, K. K embarks on layers of sexual viscerality in the tactile and relational, transcending the material sexual escapades of the group sex meet-ups in the forest environment towards a chemically vesseld psycho-spiritual realm. Negotiating K's anti-climactic post sex purge with nymphs and forest characters , the emptying out of K elicits a portal of stripping away the inner burdens. K's catharsis is only an entry point to their fevered experience, as K holds clutches a gay pornography magazine in the back of a van they enter deeper and more difficult to ascertain “void”. We, the listeners, are left on a cliffhanger around K's fate.

On Woodland Fantasies, Guixine gives you a long-form meditation on pointed rhythm efficacy through pressurized clicks and boiling bass curves. Composed entirely using the FM 8 VST, the longform release feels something like a peak Raster-Noton album, or Sigha's “Purification Loops” through a Mika Vainio lens. Recorded during what the anonymously guarded Guixine recalls as their “worst depression of January 2022”, the album accentuates a winter isolationist sonic makeup, yet cleverly mixed for a louder and more sociable potential. Guixine's anecdotal woodland fantasy sets a tone for a headier listener's evening nature stroll towards a A night of unprecedented indulgences and potential. Full pressure and full volume applied, the walk towards the titillating unknown is enveloped by Guixine's psycho-psychedelic-eroto journey."

The final light of the day hits K's ears from behind. on the damp forest floor. K sees serpents emerge from the roots of the trees. They have a message; the woods despise K for leaving dirty traces behind. contract, but the snakes charge anyways. There, for a split second, a vision of the glorious fairy knight burns into the eyes. Serpents bleed sweet sap from their severed necks.

K feels cold and weak. K crawls back inside the van. Van starts driving. Holding onto the mattress, left hand touches an old male fitness magazine. Fever sets in, and a stream of void energy enters the body. not far away.”
