"Turkish producer Ekin Üzeltüzenci aka Ekin Fil debuts on re:st with her Rosewood Untitled LP. The experimental, lo-fi folk and ambient artist, hailing from Istanbul, presents a warm and colorful collection of ambient works inspired by the resistance of nature. of the songs on the album were written and composed under the influence of big forest fires that lasted for days in over 50 cities in the summer of 2021 in Turkey as in many areas of the world as well. on the extinction after the fire, trying to understand the pain of existence and tries to believe that the forest will regenerate itself again."
