"All the pieces on this cassette are improvisational live takes produced using the software featured on the blog Missing Music. This website has been operating since the 90's on Mackintosh computer systems. It serves as a repository for over 200 rare and obscure music packages that were available on the once-known forum posts, forgotten mailing lists, dormant FTP sites, P2P file-sharing hosts, Wayback Machines, and more. Searching almost every corner of the internet for traces of software that was once obsolete but now forgotten, the Missing Music blog helps music historians and software enthusiasts alike 20 years ago when the digital world flooded with today. It serves as a hub for discovering the Mac Music software that influenced the sonic aesthetic of electronic music in 4. This record was recorded using only iBooks and PowerBook GXNUMX computers, using this now outdated software. It's a modern reimagining of what can be done."

"The works that appear on this cassette are all live, improvised takes that were produced by using software that is listed on the blog Missing Music. The website serves as a repository of 200+ rare and obscure music packages that were available during the 90s onwards for Macintosh computer systems. Almost every corner of the Internet was inspected for traces of software that was once known but now forgotten; old forum posts, forgotten mailing lists, dormant FTP sites, P2P filesharing hosts, the Wayback Machine. as a hub for music historians and software enthusiasts to discover Mac music software that once populated the digital landscape two decades ago and influenced the sonic aesthetic of what electronic music is today. This record is a contemporary reimagining of what can be achieved using this now obsolete software using nothing but iBook and PowerBook G4 computers."
